About The Importance of Your Countenance

The seed of this story was germinated almost 20 years ago when I was living in a suburb of Chicago and working at a trade show exhibit company also located in the 'burbs.  A few of the women I worked with lived downtown and I considered them really cool. The other women from the suburbs and I used to say these city girls must have read a special book that told them the right thing to say, do, and wear-on every occasion.  We wondered where we could find a copy of this book because we thought it would be great to be able to be like that.  One other thing, Jean is mostly based on a bookkeeper who worked at  WWVA- Radio 30 years ago, and a little bit on myself-  I was always good at handling nasty customers.
